Inland Port in Sussex, NJ

last updated: 2022-04-27

Up to 3000 sea-containers a day will be processed at the new facility being developed together with the Ports of NY/NJ and NYS&W Railway.

Containers will be offloaded from railcars, with empty containers being loaded back at the same time. Offloaded containers will then be transferred onto trucks for delivery further inland, or stored/processed on-site. This will allow for major relief of port congestion in the area.
